'Toxic' gained worldwide success, reaching the top-five in fifteen countries. It came to top of the charts in Austria, Canada, Hungary, Norway, and the UK. Britney Spears used to be a top pop-star. I believe her star image has been ruined by the amount of drugs she was taking but she got back into it and still hits the top of the charts, which only shows how long she has been going on for and the amount of people that still listen to her.
This music video came out in 2004, at this time I was 8 years old and when i watched this music video I was excited and interested by the visuals on screen. I thought they were quite amazing and I couldn't quite understand how they were done. When I look at this music video now I know that a lot more can be improved on and some elements could be done better for example when she rides the motorbike. What I really like about the video is the bit where she walks through lasers. I used to think that was quite incredible. Now I would probably experiment with the laser idea this for fun.
