Lighting and Performance Workshop
Last week our teachers took us to the Drama huts on a very thrilling and fun experience...
All of our class got a turn in working with the cameras and performing in front of each other in order to get a feel and teach ourselves how to effectively work with lighting and cameras, whilst someone was performing.
Setting out lighting so that the characters looked good in the camera was a challenge as when the light wasn't in the right place it made the person too bright or too dull...
What I learnt in these sessions was to be very carreful with lighting. Also I had a good go with the camera which I really enjoyed. I tried to establish the characters emotions through the use of close ups and to make it seem that they're really a band I walek around them and caught everyone doing their 'band thing'.
